Senior Front-end (React.js) developer (British startup)

Who we need

We are looking for a Senior React.js developer with 4+ years of experience in Front-end development to join the project from Bath, United Kingdom.

Requirements

Must have

4+ years of commercial experience in front-end development;
2+ years with React.js;
Experience with TypeScript;
Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS;
Good spoken and written English (Upper-Intermediate or higher)

Will be a plus

Experience with Next.js, Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), Headless CMS experience

Responsibilities

Creating reusable React.js components to go into our component library for use across several websites, matching designs, refactoring, establishing CMS-driven templates, workflows;
Helping to implement a CMS system and configure/tailor it to our specific use cases, defining APIs where appropriate, templating, authentication, etc;
Participation in the product decision-making process, close cooperation not only with the team to which you belong but also with all members responsible for the product.

Customer

A media company for the sports industry based in the United Kingdom.

Product

Our customer is a digital sports media company focused solely on cycling and tri-sports and engaging with more than 40.1 million hyper-engaged cycling fans and riders globally across their portfolio of road cycling, mountain biking, triathlon, and e-mountain biking channels. Their system consists of English, Italian, Spanish, Deutsch, and Japanese channels. They operate three market-leading YouTube channels, the Global Cycling Network (GCN), the Global Mountain Bike Network (GMBN), and the Global Triathlon Network (GTN), with over 4 million subscribers.

It's a media agency company specializing in cycling media. They have a load of YouTube channels for road cycling, off-road mounted biking, and triathlon also they have a shop for their fans which is Magento-based, and a subscription service. The media company also decided to create a social media app for cycling fans, so that's on Android and iOS. They also had a kind of live racing and documentaries, a kind of live video-on-demand assets on all of those three platforms.

Project team

In the Lviv office, we have 4 Front-end developers. On the customer's side, there are 76 members (ios, android, frontend, backend & design teams + 2 pm/scrum masters)

Work Schedule

Full-time working day (Lviv or remote), flexible working hours.
