Senior Full-stack developer (PHP+React) with AI expertise

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full-stack Developer (PHP + React) who’s passionate about modern development and curious about how AI can level up the way teams work.

You’ll join a long-term project in the alternative investments domain, helping to improve and scale a product that simplifies the entire process of investing — from onboarding and compliance to reporting and insights.

Requirements:

6+ years in software development
Strong expertise in PHP and React/TypeScript
Experience in AI tools/workflows (e.g., using AI for code reviews, documentation, templates, agents, etc.)
Solid understanding of scalable system design and software architecture
Great communication and teamwork skills
English: at least Intermediate+

Will be a plus:

Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading small teams

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain scalable backend services in PHP and modern frontends in React/TypeScript
Take ownership of AI integration across the dev process — from code reviews and documentation to automation and internal tools
Help define and improve team AI workflows, reusable libraries, and coding standards
Support and mentor the team in adopting AI tools and best practices
Collaborate closely with the PHP Lead, PM, and QA to shape the roadmap and deliver top-quality features

The platform transforms how financial institutions and advisors handle alternative investments. Instead of relying on manual, paper-heavy processes, it offers a streamlined digital workflow that improves accuracy, reduces errors, and provides transparency for investors.

The project has been running successfully for several years with a stable client relationship since 2019. The atmosphere within the team is highly collaborative, with strong support from both the client and TechMagic.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, flexible hours
Work from anywhere (fully remote or in our office in Ukraine/Poland)

Interview stages:

Call with the Recruiter
Technical interview with PHP lead, React developer and PHP developer
Client interview
