TechMagic follows agile practices bringing to your business the latest technologies and software development methodologies. Our technology stack is based on Node.js, Nest.js, Java, .Net, PHP, and Python for the backend. Next.js, React, React Native, Angular, and Vue.js for the frontend side. For the infrastructure, we mainly work with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
Three young IT specialists Oleh Dats, Andrii Kuzmych and Lidia Dats founded TechMagic. At that time, they consciously chose the segment of clients — startups because they themselves travelled that path. Before that, they already had experience of working together on two startups.
We moved to a new office in the historic center of Lviv, it was small and very cozy. There we synchronized our watches with the clock at the town hall and made customer calls overlooking the city center. We partnered with two of our main clients — Good.co, Elements.cloud.
We continued to grow. By the end of 2016, the team had tripled. We moved again, this time to a spacious office on Heroiv UPA Street. We got into the TOP 5 best employers in Lviv in IT according to the DOU rating. The first Training Center, a learning program for students, was launched. We became an official AWS partner. New clients —Tide, Sqord, Yealie, Motiflow, Motormops, MentionMyBiz.
The Salesforce division turned into a separate company, MagicFuse, and the first Salesforce Training Center was launched. Our new clients — Seven West Media, Mobile Practice, SocioLocal, Plasticity.
We crossed the mark of 100 employees. Organized events to present the company in the UK and the Netherlands. Launched a new service — business analysis, and signed a strategic partnership with Serverless.
We rank 11th in the world as a Node.js development company at Clutch Research. We represented Ukraine at the largest technology conference in London — “London Tech week” Created the Center of Excellence. The products we worked on are used by: Blizzard, Sony, Atlassian, Salesforce, Cisco, Hilton, Allianz, Siemens, Fiat, Ryanair, Deloitte, American Express.
COVID-19. Techmagic switched to a flexible work format (full remote or office work if desired). The company became all-Ukrainian, we began to remotely involve a team of specialists from all over Ukraine. We launched a subsidiary, the recruitment agency “MagicHire”, which works on vacancies for foreign food companies. Became the organizer of AWS User Group in Lviv. Created a community for JS professionals, Magic JS.
Crossed the mark of 200 specialists. Conducted the first AWS and Magic.JS meetups. Conducted the first all-Ukrainian enrollment of students for the training course from TechMagic Academy. Our Salesforce company MagicFuse started cooperation with 4Seasons.
We opened a representative office in Kraków, Poland. We celebrated 250 employees at TechMagic. Organized volunteer initiatives implementing charity projects. Moved to a new modern office in Lviv, Ukraine. TechMagic Academy launched two new educational streams: DevOps and Security.
