Celebrating 12 Years of TechMagic: 10% Growth, AI Focus, and Strengthening Niche Expertise
Last updated:6 July 2026

This June, TechMagic turned 12, and we are not taking a single year for granted.
12 years in, the feeling is mostly gratitude. Grateful for the clients who stayed with us, some for a decade. Grateful for the people who build here every day.

Looking back, this year gave us plenty to be proud of. Here is a snapshot of what we achieved together.
Another Year of Growth and Recognition for TechMagic

Scaling by 10% to 400+ people
This year, we grew to a team of 400+, which is a 10% increase. People are the greatest value we have at TechMagic. The percentage is slightly lower than in past years, and we are at peace with that. In the challenging market conditions of 2026, steady growth is its own kind of proof. Every person who joins us matters.
Acquiring Diversido
In 2026, we welcomed Diversido, a Kyiv company founded in 2013, with 20+ specialists and 80+ successful projects. Their delivery team strengthens our work in HealthTech, EdTech, and IoT. The founder, Tetiana Kobzar, joined us in a Strategic Account Management role. Many of their clients have stayed with them for 5+ years, which tells us everything about how they work. Now, those are our clients, and we are putting our full effort into their results and the quality of the work we deliver.
Becoming an AWS WAF Delivery Partner
AWS named us an official WAF Delivery Partner. The badge is not automatic. AWS reserves it for partners with proven client results and skills its own architects have verified. For clients, it is a simple signal: our cloud security work meets the bar Amazon sets.
Key Directions We Keep Investing In
Results come from sustained focus. These are the domains where we deepen our expertise year after year.
Healthcare software development
Healthcare remains one of our strongest areas, now deeper with the Diversido team. We became official Medplum partners, which sharpens our work on modern, interoperable health platforms.
At TechMagic, we build for clients at every growth stage: startups finding their first users, scale-ups under pressure, and enterprises with complex systems to modernize.
Over the last 12 months, we focused on clinical workflow UX, patient-centric design, and accessibility standards. Underneath that sits HIPAA-ready engineering and fluency in HL7 and FHIR. We grew in all of it, and our portfolio grew richer for it. You can see the recent work in our case studies.
We also showed up in person and online. One recent highlight was ViVE, where the healthcare and tech worlds meet.

Cybersecurity
At TechMagic, security runs through everything we build. This year our focus went deeper rather than wider. We grew our expertise in two areas: preparing products for compliance, and security testing for AI-powered products, a need that keeps growing as more clients ship AI features.
Over the last 12 months, our security experts earned multiple certifications. Among them are Certified AI/ML Pentester (C-AI/MLPen), eCPPT, eWPTX, CS-ADWI (Advanced Dark Web Intelligence), Burp Suite Certified Practitioner, Certified Blockchain Security Professional, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate. And that is not the full list.
One thing stays constant: the proactive mindset of our security team. Beyond growing their own knowledge, they shared it openly. This year they ran webinars including Secure Apps Development in the AI Era and The Guide to PCI DSS Penetration Testing, alongside workshops and industry events where they regularly joined as speakers.
AI development and adoption
This year we kept investing in AI on two levels. For clients, we focused on responsible, high-quality AI development, including spec-driven development, an approach that turns clear specifications into working software faster, without giving up on quality. Inside the company, we put AI to work across our own processes, so the way we deliver kept getting sharper. This was not AI washing. It was funded, practiced, and measured. That discipline is what let smaller teams do more for clients, inside the same scope and budget.
Salesforce development and consulting
Through MagicFuse, our Salesforce brand, we help companies get the most from the platform with custom development, integrations, and consulting. This year the practice grew on both sides. New clients came to us for help shaping their Salesforce setup from the ground up. And the clients who have been with us for years asked us to do more, which is the kind of growth we trust most. That mix, fresh projects alongside deepening long-term partnerships, is exactly how we want this direction to grow.
Growing our brands
Over the last year, we have kept building the brands we have grown alongside TechMagic.
MagicHire, our recruitment team, helped companies find the software engineers, product, sales, and marketing people they needed to grow. The team also backed middle and senior developers in finding new opportunities through the GetYourOffer service.
MagicFlux, our UI/UX design team, delivered digital products built around usability and accessibility, with designs that looked sharp and worked cleanly.
Charity: Blood Donations and Supporting Ukraine
At TechMagic, charity is part of who we are.

Support for the army
Since 2022, TechMagic has donated 40.3M+ UAH to support Ukraine, including 9.6M UAH over the last 12 months. This year, that included 1,000,000 UAH to AzovOne for interceptor drones built to bring down "Shahed" kamikaze UAVs. The work continues for as long as it is needed.
Blood donations
Blood donor days remain a steady tradition in our office. On April 22, we hosted our 8th Donor Day at the Lviv office, and 14 colleagues gave blood for the Lviv Blood Center. Our people show up for them, year after year, because the need never really pauses.
Learning and Development at TechMagic
Our expertise is only as current as our people. In 2026, we put real time into learning.
AI learning across teams
This year we held 25 AI training sessions across development, design, PM, BA, and QA, plus three internal AI hackathons. Curiosity became a habit, not just an event. We also ran regular internal AI workshops, where teams shared what they were learning and traded practical insights from real projects.
At TechMagic, one of our recent hackathons put the approach to a real test. Four teams took on four real business problems from our own departments, over two days. All four shipped a working solution. Engineers new to spec-driven development were productive by the middle of day two. That was the takeaway from the year: a small team with the right method and AI tooling can go from a business problem to a working product in days, and that is the pace we carried into client work.
TechMagic Academy
The Academy ran two courses, in JavaScript and QA, and eight graduates joined the team. Teaching the next generation keeps our own thinking sharp.
AWS and JS meetups
TechMagic hosted three AWS meetups and three JavaScript meetups, bringing engineers together to share what actually works.
Client Trips and Long-Term Partnerships
The relationships we build with clients matter to us as much as the work itself. This year, we made a point of seeing our clients in person.
Huckleberry Labs client trip
In May, Oleksandra Kharkova, Yulia Yaremchuk, and Oleksandr Hutsuliak visited our client Huckleberry Labs. Time in the same room does what calls cannot.
UK business trip
Our experts, Ihor Pomohai, Ana Dubinchuk, and Ihor Shmidt, had a productive trip to the UK. They met our clients, Elements and Roc Technologies, and visited Alder Hey Innovation in Liverpool, a healthcare clinic focused on improving the patient and family experience through modern solutions. Together, they explored a possible collaboration and future partnership.

Team Gatherings and Shared Moments
Good work needs good company. This year, we made room for both.
At TechMagic, we came together at Team Gatherings in Lviv, Kyiv, and Kraków, our three home cities. Beyond the office, we headed to the mountains and a ski resort, and showed up at IT meetups around the community.
Magic people love doing sports and playing together. Our own football team takes the field, and colleagues meet for regular sports sessions throughout the year.
We also held themed culture workshops tied to the holidays we share. Small rituals, but they keep the people close.

What's Next: Three Strategic Priorities for TechMagic
That was the year behind us. Here is where we are heading.
We enter our 13th year with three priorities. Each one answers a real change in how clients buy and how software gets built.
Deepening our AI expertise
At TechMagic, AI is now part of how we design, build, and test. Used well, it lets smaller teams deliver more, with the same care for quality. We are investing in it on purpose. The aim stays steady: human engineering judgment leads, and AI handles the repetitive work underneath.
Nurturing trusted relationships with clients and partners
Long-term relationships are TechMagic's quiet advantage in a noisy market. We invest in them on every side: with clients who stay for years like Elements.cloud and Loving Work, with partners like AWS and Medplum, and with the teams who join us through acquisition and bring their loyal clients along.
Sharpening our niche domain expertise
Deep knowledge of a few industries beats shallow coverage of many. We keep narrowing toward the domains where we already run deep: healthcare, cybersecurity and compliance, Salesforce, cloud, and FinTech.

Thank You!
12 years, and the gratitude only grows. To our team, thank you for the care you put into the work. To our clients, thank you for trusting us with what matters. To everyone who has supported Ukraine alongside us, thank you for standing with us.
Here is to the next year, built with the same heart as the first.
