The agency that ships Medplum in production — not just knows how it works
We've built patient portals, EHR integrations, and clinical workflows on Medplum across 8 active clients. When you're ready to move beyond demos, we're the team you call.

with FHIR-based archutecture
Six implementation areas. All production-tested.
Not capabilities we've read about — problems we've solved across multiple live Medplum deployments.
Self-hosted on AWS EKS or managed cloud. Multi-environment config (dev/staging/prod), secrets management, zero-downtime deployment pipeline. AWS EKS, Terraform, CI/CD
Custom FHIR profiles for your clinical workflows. We've modeled: lab results, RPM vitals, appointment scheduling, medication management, and care plan tracking. FHIR R4, Custom profiles, Extensions
Background job architecture that doesn't time out. Reliable bot patterns for lab result ingestion, HL7 v2 parsing, notification dispatch, and cross-system sync. Bots, HL7 v2, Subscriptions
SMART on FHIR client apps, bi-directional HL7 v2 lab feeds, CareQuality / CommonWell HIE connections. Tested with Epic, Cerner, Athena, and major lab vendors. SMART on FHIR, Epic, Lab APIs
React/Next.js frontends built against the Medplum API. Secure messaging, appointment booking, vitals display, care plan access — designed for clinical usability, not just demo day. React, Next.js, Node.js
Bi-directional sync between Medplum FHIR resources and Salesforce Health Cloud objects. Patient/Contact mapping, appointment sync, conflict resolution strategy. Health Cloud, Flows, FHIR ↔ CRM
From signed contract to production in 6 weeks. It's not a roadmap we invented for this page. This is the actual sequence we run across every Medplum engagement.
Architecture review (week 1)
A senior engineer maps your clinical workflows to FHIR resources before a single line of code is written. We challenge your assumptions — which ones to build now, which to defer, and where teams typically create technical debt. You get a written architecture decision record (ADR) at the end.
Environment setup (week 1–2)
Production-grade infrastructure from day one. Dev / staging / prod environments on AWS, secrets management, monitoring with Datadog or equivalent, HIPAA-compliant logging that doesn't log PHI.
Core implementation (week 2–5)
Weekly demos every Friday — you see working software, not status updates. We ship in two-week sprints with a clear definition of done for each FHIR resource, bot, and integration. You always know exactly what's in production.
Clinical validation (week 5–6)
We run real clinical scenarios — not happy-path testing. FHIR operations under load, bot error recovery, PHI boundary checks, and a walkthrough with your clinical stakeholders to confirm workflows match real use.
Go-live + long-term partnership
Safe deployment with rollback strategy. After launch, we stay involved — not as a ticket queue, but as your Medplum partner. Our average client relationship is 3+ years. We're not an agency that disappears after handoff.
Why choose TechMagic as a Medplum partner
We've hit the real edge cases: bot timeouts on large Patient bundles, FHIR subscription fan-out at scale, HL7 v2 lab feed quirks from specific vendors. You benefit from that without paying for the mistakes.
